What I like about Wiki is that its developed to collaborate a community of users, allowing any user to add and edit content. As much as I would use it for personal use, I don't think I would implement this tool in my classroom, as students are in the midst of developing their own blogs and commenting on each others. Students also have the class website to add and edit their content. The website is in fact a google site, where students have their own page that links off it to upload and blog about homework, assessments and class work. This is still underway and is going of great use in term 4.
